I had been given a replacement on my first set due to low quality hair right after doing a conditioning rinse on the hair. I used special hair extension conditioner from a professional hair extensions line The Hair Shop. I’m so disappointed because this second set they sent me is no better. I’ve worn this hair for a month when my hair got damp as I got caught the rain & now the extensions are frizzed up. No amount of flat ironing helps. All the short ends that are of various lengths throughout the hair point every which direction making the hair look so frizzy next to my own silky straight hair. My fingers get stuck in the hair after I wear it for an hour or two, it is not silky nor smooth—making me wonder if the hair is Remy at all & the cuticles aren’t kept in tact in the same direction from root to end. I now carry a small brush with me & I’m constantly having to brush out the tangles. This hair only looks good straight out of the box. But do not get it wet! For any reason. I should have just gone with the 50% money back when they offered this option upon return of my first set. Instead I chose to have them send me a replacement thinking maybe I received a bad batch.I do have positive things to say as well. But I’m mainly rating the quality of the hair as this matters most. Luxy customer service is amazing. They get back to you very quickly & are very understanding & resolved my first problem very efficiently. I was treated with honor & respect. Never felt like a nuisance. The clips & how they’re sewn into the wefts are amazing. I have worn extensions for 20 years & Luxy by far do the best job at this. The clips are secure & stay flat to the head without slipping. I purchased the original weft (not seamless) there is very minimal shedding. But the hair doesn’t stay curled well. The curls do relax a lot after wear for a few hours. But this I find happens to a lot of extensions.
