*I added comments between asterisks after Lyca had published their reply below* I switched to Lyca few months ago and I was very pleased while in Italy. But when I went to Russia, and when I was transiting back to Italy via Poland, Lyca was "dead". I spent quite a lot of time looking for solution, I was in contact with their support. *I contacted Lyca support in Russia and they answered they only could help to customers of Lyca-Russia. I chatted with online support for Italian customers, but they could not help.* I Googled as well. No way! The simcard never detected a network. I tried EVERYTHING! *Lyca needs roaming to be active on your phone even at home country, so could not miss that* I also bumped into same complaints of people traveling with Lyca around Europe. So a month ago I went to another provider (same price, the same network). Today I arrived to Russia again, and the new operator's simcard started working straight away without any action from my side. Another bad thing about Lyca is that if you "miss" your monthly payment you loose the offer. *the other operator allows you to interrupt usage of you sim for up to 12 months and your package ramains active. With Lyca if you miss the payment because your cridit is low, you loose your package and cannot reactivate it*
