The 3 stars are for the agent Dilma Lourenço that was patient and of great help, and my national experience with Lyca Portugal, but this SIM brand wouldn't be my choice of SIM card any more. My Lyca Mobile experience has been easy until it got weird. While travelling inside the EU from a country to a neighbouring country, my SIM card stopped working and with it my number. And to be able to access my phone number again the agent said that I have to buy another Portuguese number that I need to activate in PT before travelling, activate it by calling a number in PT for 2 minutes and give other confirmation things. Quite a weird process that I literarily clearly can not perform if the problem is happening outside of PT! SIM cards are not supposed to be out of service because one has travelled within the EU. Also, the transfer takes 1 to 48h and the agent said it is a trial and error process. By pure chance I had a spare Lyca SIM card that I brought with me from PT and that worked to the surprise of the agent. Now I am waiting for the transfer that might or might not happen.I am not even mentioning that the SIM card does not work outside the EU, like it shuts down completely. Spare yourself if you travel frequently.
