We booked a Christmas 2025 dinner for four. Initially, we were seated quickly, and the drinks arrived in a timely manner. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. We ordered three prawn and avocado cocktails, but were informed they were out of avocado, and the prawns were tiny and lacked flavor. For the main course, we had ordered two Christmas meals, one roast beef, and one steak. The Christmas meal consisted of overcooked frozen vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. The turkey was not fresh but rather pre-cooked and sliced like supermarket products. There was no roast beef, so we ended up with another turkey dinner, which was bland. The steak was decent, and the Christmas pudding was good. The coffee was weak, and when we asked to upgrade to lattes, the waitress informed us it would take too long to change the machine. The mini mince pies were just pastry. Consequently, there was a lot of food waste, and the coffees went untouched. When we raised our concerns about the meals and drinks, all we received was a simple "so sorry." I felt sorry for the serving staff. The price for these mediocre meals was quite high £68 per person. We will not be returning.
