Went to the one in Nottingham tonight not impressed at all. Our waitress was miserable had dirty finger nails. Most of the meals were covered.in grwase or garlic butter very very poor meal sis t wven want to give it one star. My husband left most of his mixed grill chicken tasteless and dry, steak chewy as a old boot sausages a weird taste peas like bullets. My fish was dry and greasy sons girlfriend's chicken was dry and like a kids portion. My desert came the plate was filty asked if the plate was dirty the waitress with the dirty finger nails came back gave it a wipe with her hands and said it's just probably my finger marks absolutely disgusting knew we was not happy but did nothing. Went to pay and left me standing there while she said give me a minute but went to clear a table. Not a good experience at all £150 chucked down the drain. this place used to be really good. And the premier inn next door don't get me started on that
We booked a Christmas 2025 dinner for four. Initially, we were seated quickly, and the drinks arrived in a timely manner. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. We ordered three prawn and avocado cocktails, but were informed they were out of avocado, and the prawns were tiny and lacked flavor. For the main course, we had ordered two Christmas meals, one roast beef, and one steak. The Christmas meal consisted of overcooked frozen vegetables, potatoes, and stuffing. The turkey was not fresh but rather pre-cooked and sliced like supermarket products. There was no roast beef, so we ended up with another turkey dinner, which was bland. The steak was decent, and the Christmas pudding was good. The coffee was weak, and when we asked to upgrade to lattes, the waitress informed us it would take too long to change the machine. The mini mince pies were just pastry. Consequently, there was a lot of food waste, and the coffees went untouched. When we raised our concerns about the meals and drinks, all we received was a simple "so sorry." I felt sorry for the serving staff. The price for these mediocre meals was quite high £68 per person. We will not be returning.
We visited a local restaurant as a family of 9 for our Christmas dinner. It was our first time dining out on Christmas day, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience! The food was delightful, the staff were outstanding, and the whole atmosphere was fantastic! We felt very welcomed. We will definitely book again for next year!
Our experience at the restaurant was mixed. The waitress was lovely, which is the only reason we didn't give a one-star rating. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated in the bar area near the toilets. We waited 50 minutes for appetizers, which shouldn't take that long. When the main meals arrived, there were incorrect orders, but the staff rectified it quickly. However, we waited almost an hour for desserts, and one order was still incorrect. The food was nice, but the lack of communication between the staff and kitchen was disappointing.

We had a lovely meal and the best waiter who was very friendly and engaging. He even took pictures of us, which was a nice touch. My dinner was prepared just as I like it, and my family enjoyed theirs as well. A brilliant restaurant, and we've already booked for my mother's birthday!
