The service at the airport clearly lacks thorough inspections of rental vehicles for clients with insurance. They seem to focus on those without insurance, making them pay for accumulated damages. Upon receiving the vehicle, I noticed significant damages that were impossible to overlook, and I had to insist they be documented. Minor damages were dismissed by the employee as too trivial to record. I chose not to purchase their insurance since my travel insurance covered the vehicle. After returning the car, the report included damages I had pointed out at check-out but were initially dismissed. Thankfully, I had taken photos to prove I did not cause them. Some additional scratches were found that I failed to notice at check-out, which is my oversight, and my insurance will need to cover that. If renting without their insurance, it's advisable to use video to capture the entire car to ensure no small scratches are missed and to insist on documenting any scratches deemed too minor.
