I’m really pleased with the experience I had learning to drive with Malcolm Collins. His teaching approach is professional, structured, and very reassuring, which made a huge difference to my progress. I’m happy to say I passed my driving test with only 2 minors, and a lot of that is down to his guidance.
Malcolm is very patient and takes the time to make sure you fully understand each aspect of driving. He creates a calm learning environment, which helped me stay confident even when I made mistakes. What stood out the most was how he tailored each lesson to focus on my weak areas, helping me improve quickly.

Achieved a first time pass today with Chi in Newport. Chi is a truly amazing instructor who genuinely cares about his pupils. His structured lessons and patience gave me the confidence I needed to pass. It took me a while to get comfortable behind the wheel, but Chi somehow managed to teach me how to calm down, and make me laugh at the same time. I am going to miss our Tuesday mornings. Thank you so much Chi!
Recently passed my practical test first time after lessons with Malcolm. Would highly recommend him to other learners especially those who are a bit nervous about driving like I was when I first started. Malcolm was great at explaining all aspects of driving whether verbally or with the trusty white board and it's thanks to him that I feel confident to drive. He's really knowledgeable about driving in Cardiff and that helped greatly for my test.

My driving instructor, Julie Lavelle is an absolutely marvellous instructor. She is patient and kind and has been extremely supportive for my journey from start to finish. She made sure to be thorough and explain things when I struggled and made this whole experience so easy for me.
