We had an air source heat pump, solar panels, and loft insulation installed in August 2025, and since then, the system has been nothing but problematic. It seems to work for about three weeks, then the same error code appears, causing both the heating and hot water to stop functioning entirely. Despite multiple engineer visits, each one offers different explanations — "there's no issue," "there's a leak," "the pressure is low" — but no real solution. Engineers frequently tell us they can't resolve the issue on-site. We are promised follow-up calls that never come, forcing us to chase repeatedly, only for another engineer to arrive and be unable to fix the problem. This cycle continues. I lodged a formal complaint months ago and received no response. I submitted another complaint yesterday asking for a manager to review the installation, as it has clearly never functioned correctly since the start. Overall, this has been an utter waste of time and an incredibly frustrating ordeal. The system was sold to us as a significant upgrade to our home, but instead, it has brought ongoing stress and disruption. I sincerely wish we had never proceeded with the installation.
