Just been to Macdonald's Padholme East, Peterborough as treat for my 4yr old grand daughters birthday, on way home after cinema and as its 33° today I thought the aircon would make it pleasant experience- WRONG! It wasnt even on, I asked 3 members of staff why it wasnt, no reply so I asked to speak to the Manager who told me it categorically was on??I held my serviette up to several of the aircon ducts, no movement, no noise, no cool air because IT WASNT ON!My grand daughter was literally dripping with sweat and myself and pregnant daughter had to fan ourselves. I spent £22.93 on our meals and drinks but had to leave half the food as it was so unbearable to eat there.On my return home I immediately phoned to complain - apparently the customer service girl I spoke to phoned the store who told her a higher manager had gone into store after I left (funny coincidence eh?) and noticed it wasnt very cool in the store so an engineer is being called to investigate! An apology was given but I seriously would have appreciated a voucher of some sort so I could take my grand daughter again locally where I know the aircon is always ace? Shame on such a massive organisation having such poor customer satisfaction and spoiling the end of a 4 yr olds birthday day treat😤
