I signed up for Mad Muscle thinking I was getting a reasonably priced fitness program. What they don’t make clear upfront is that after the first month, the price jumps significantly. The initial rate feels like a bait-and-switch to get you subscribed, then suddenly you’re charged much more than expected.
This kind of pricing structure comes across as deceptive and erodes trust. If I had known the true ongoing cost from the beginning, I never would have signed up. Canceling also isn’t as straightforward as it should be, which adds to the frustration.
There are plenty of fitness apps out there that are transparent about their pricing. Unfortunately, Mad Muscle isn’t one of them. I wouldn’t recommend this service unless you’re prepared for unexpected price increases.
