I think it would’ve been better if they actually went through the moves and taught you each move before they just proceed I definitely need more direction and explanation of each synchronized movement that would’ve definitely made it better for me
Total bait and switch. Impossible to cancel after their download a workout (15 US) then bam, 49.99 a month that you can't cancel and the customer service refuses to refund or cancel. I would NOT use this app, customer service is terrible.
I have been a racquetball player for 50 years. Not much for the rest of the gym, except for the jacuzzi and steam room. However, I had noticed my flexibility, is not what it was or should be. And I wasn't going to the gym before breakfast and don't really want to do it after work. So I decided to try something different from my normal. I saw an add for Chair Tia Chi and decided to try it. I needed something to do at home and in the morning after my devotionals. So logged on and got started. It works for me. I can already feel the difference in my neck and back. So can my chiropractor. I like the ability to screen cast and be guided from my TV.
I want to advise everyone to be careful when dealing with this company. This morning I thought I had subscribed to a course at a fee of 29.99 dollars, then, luckily, I checked my credit card a few minutes later, I had been debited with 29.99 then another 29.95 and then another 9.95! When I queried this with the support desk they told me that they would give me additional courses for free later! I am still awaiting my refund at the moment. I have never experienced anything like this, the website is confusing when it comes to payments and I still don't know how I have agreed to any additional payments. Under the consumer credit act I was under the impression I had at least a 14 day cooling off period. I cancelled within 20 minutes but I am still awaiting a proper reply and refund. Please be aware of this company and I suggest an alternative if you are interested in getting fitter and healthier. - Update - After writing this review the company has now informed me a refund will be processed for the full amount.
The 'follow along' workouts are simple yet very effective. Happy with the program so far.
would like to chat with a coach on adding machine weight training going forward.
A very happy camper
I had the same type of poor experience with this company. Their sign up module is very misleading and you do not realize that you are being "automatically" enrolled in programs. I also cancelled and sent emails with no response. Then i was billed again after trial period. They refuse to refund the money. I never could figure out how to even access the programs. No wonder they are in a sketchy country of Cyprus. Shame on them. Do not do business with them.
Great and I need ed the stretches. Instructions are clear the timing of instruction the exercise is good. The follow the person on screen is excellent especially to help the right postures.
I hit my winter slugfest & needed to do something about it. I have other exercise apps but coming from a family of military people, decided to give this a try. Today was day 1. Got through in good shape although very sweaty & out of breath. So far the process downloading & getting started has been a piece of cake
Do not be fooled to sign up for this subscription which I have cancelled multiple times however they keep deducting money out of my bank. I’ve received cancel confirmation and they keep saying I can maintain the application for one dollar a month. Do I agree? No always decline they still take money out after you have cancelled. Ensure you stay away from this company.
The intention behind offering an easy workout for older people is good but there are some tactics being employed here that are not good.
My signup experience:
Was offered an 80% discount for a 4 week workout plan with an upfront payment of $9.99USD.. I was fine with this, however I didnt like the rest of the process. There are a bunch of addons which have been made super easy to add (big bright orange button) but there isnt a "No Thanks" button -- the place for this would be right next to the button to add; instead you have a far less obvious and tiny "x" in the corner you have to keep clicking and its the only way to stop all the extras being added and being able to move further through the registration process - it didnt feel like a 'no pressure' onboarding process...
Eventually I was given a QR code to install the app. Did this and looked at the workout content. The videos look ok..
I later got an email saying the plan would renew at $39.99USD a month for the next renewal. I went and cancelled this renewal because I only wanted to try it for a few weeks - but here is the strangest thing; as I was cancelling they wanted to offer me a greatly reduced monthly fee of only $0.99 per month going on, just to keep me...
I dunno.. it feels like theres a lot of smoke and mirrors with costs and things hidden away in fine print..
There seems to be an overwhelming number of complains here on trust pilot for unexpected charges experienced by people - a lot of this is no doubt due to the smoke and mirrors tricks used and things tucked away in some fine print somewhere in a dark corner...
I took away 2 stars due to the ethics behind trying to force addons during signup and what feels like smoke and mirrors with billing/ongoing charges.
