I placed an order with Maebe (Order #MS9939254) on June 16, 2025, and paid $102 (around £80). The order never arrived, and I received no updates or tracking information. Three months later, when I chased them, Maebe admitted I never got the items but still refused to issue a full refund.They only refunded me back $40 and withheld $62, claiming it was for “shipping (non-refundable) plus a £30 return import fee.” I had already paid for shipping, was given no proof of dispatch, and I’m not even sure the item was ever sent. Their Terms & Conditions only mention refunds minus “charges incurred by the courier” - nowhere does it state a blanket £30 fee. Even their refund math doesn’t make sense - the numbers simply don’t add up. As you can see - how does this math?This feels misleading and scam-like. After checking online, I found many other reviews reporting the same pattern: no delivery, hidden charges, partial refunds, and stonewalling customer service.⚠️ Warning: you risk paying for goods you never receive and losing most of your money in undisclosed fees.
