However, at pickup, you're informed that you MUST return the car with a full tank, which feels like double charging. You've already paid for the fuel, yet they still require you to top it off. Be sure to carefully review the invoice or contract when collecting the vehicle and raise any discrepancies immediately. I've been in contact with the support team for three months; they acknowledged the issue but have gone silent since I requested a refund and correction in their system. I've now raised the issue with trading standards in Italy and the UK.
