I rented a car for a couple of days in Milano. When returning the car I asked the person at the office where I could fill the car up with gas. This was completely impossible for him to answer and he could not understand why I had not found any place by myself. He ended up just pointing in a direction and saying something about a possible gas station somewhere in that direction.
Since I could not find any gas station in that direction I ended up returning the car without filling it up and having to pay extra for this.
