Picked up the hire car in the main terminal went okay where we were told the car was in perfect condition. Got the keys in the car park but immediately noted a few scratches that were not noted in the documents but in the few minutes that took the staff member had vanished. Not a good start. Upon returning the car we fully re-fueled the car to 100% full at the garage just outside the airport drove 200 m to the car park and returned it. Maggiore rep checked the car and informed us that all was okay and gave us a return slip clearly indicating the car was 100% full. of fuel. Upon return home we had an invoice for missing 10% fuel. I immediately rang the rental desk but they said I had to e-mail customer services. Customer services then ignored all communications for 8 days and eventually replied. Their so called proof was a dubious receipt from a garage with the rental number plate hand written on it. Despite having the signed off form from their rep certifying that the car was 100% full they refused to refund the money they had effectively stolen from us. A very poor end to the rental. Not to be trusted!
