Never book with maggiore, I had ordered a Fiat Punto which I received a Fiat 500L which I was fine with, I didn't have any insurance so the man said about insurance so I accepted the charges and continued my trip I returned the car back to Palermo Airport on the 25/08/2013 and everything was fine except the long wait to return the car. So I returned the car and received a text saying your invoice is ready so as soon as I arrived in england I opened the invoice to find I have been charged €55 for an extra days rental when I returned the car on time, just had to wait a long time to actually tell someone I have and for them to check it over, I then got charged €9 for high season fee whatever that is, €10 for missing fuel which was full and have a picture of, €2 for administration costs and €54 airport fees which is already covered with the company I booked it through, I was certainly not happy. So I rang up maggiore at palermo airport where I got the car from and said why have you charged me and the man said we have nothing to do with it you must ring the company you booked with so I did it and I am awaiting a response never book via maggiore or Carhire3000/RentalCars/Priceline.com ever the price may be low but the but wait till the end if your trip when your charged for things that you thought were already covered or were not needed to be charged to your account. Vittorio Maggiore should be ashamed and disappointed of his company!
