I purchased my first Magicycle ebike, a Deer step-thru in December of 2023, from a retailer, Electric Bikes of Arizona, in Peoria. I went with the Deer model because I wanted a full suspension ebike that was good and rugged. I'm 67 years old, and don't do any crazy off-road riding, but a lot of the trails we ride on in AZ are gravel or dirt, with moderate hills. The Deer handles the riding I'm doing with ease and comfort. The full-suspension makes such a big difference over ebikes with no suspension, or just front suspension. In addition to riding in Arizona in the winter months, I live and ebike in Wisconsin the rest of the year. All of our riding in Wisconsin is on paved trails and roads. For this riding, I did not feel I needed all rugged features of the Deer. I wanted something lightweight, but solid, well-built, and with adjustable handlebars. I wanted to be able to raise the handlebars and tilt them toward me a bit, for a little more ease of riding. I did look into other brands, but many of them had little or no handlebar adjustability. All of them were over 85 pounds. I found that Magicyle's CT-1 bike had the features I wanted, and is only 54 pounds! I love the CT-1 as much as the Deer. I'm so glad I found Magicycle!
