There seems to be a bug in their system.
We've worked with mailerlite before on the free plan, never had an issue. Today we upgraded to a paid plan, for a full year. Paid over 200$, just to have our account terminated a few minutes later.
They claim that we breached the Terms of Service (which we didn't, we even re-read every part of their TOS afterwards, and we can confirm there was not a single issue in how we used the system. It's also very strange we never had this before, but once we paid, suddenly this happens?)
We'll be requesting my credit card company to cancel the transaction, and give back the money. But on top of that, we're looking into filing an official complaint. Our partners were expecting a mail this weekend, which we were ready for, but because Mailerlite suddenly terminates our account for no reason, we cannot send out our mails towards partners who are expecting these mails. This could lose us and our partners a massive amount of money, so we'll be looking into filing a complaint and demanding a compensation.
It's clear that they have probably switched their system to an AI agent to reduce costs, but the agent is not ready yet and is doing it's checks incorrectly.
