I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Maison Flâneur to help future customers make informed decisions.I placed an order for a rug in March and received a confirmation email stating an estimated delivery date just three working days after the order was placed. After a full week with no updates or tracking information, I contacted customer service to express my concern. I received a reply 48 hours later saying the issue was being looked into, but after that, I had to follow up two more times before I finally received an update four days later. At that point, I was told the rug was being made to order with a 12-week lead time, which was a complete surprise. Nowhere during the purchase process or on the product page was this made clear. In fact, the item was listed as “In Stock” with a delivery date just days away. This misleading presentation led me to reasonably believe I was purchasing a ready-to-ship item. Worse still, the general delivery policy on their website advises customers to check individual product pages for any extended lead times, yet no such note existed on the page for the rug I ordered. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially for a high-value item.This situation reflects misleading advertising and, in my view, breaches UK consumer protection laws. To make matters worse, after I raised these concerns, customer service stopped responding entirely. My last email, sent almost two months ago, has still not received any reply. The complete lack of follow-up or accountability has only added to an already frustrating experience.As of today, I have still not received the rug, nor have I received any update on when it might arrive.Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this company. I urge other customers to exercise caution when ordering from Maison Flâneur, especially if you require timely delivery. To Maison Flâneur: I strongly urge you to update your product listings with accurate delivery timelines and significantly improve your customer communication. This entire situation was both avoidable and disappointing.
