What an AWESOME company!!

So here's my story... I ordered a Christmas gift for my son that included a customized/personalized flask & a Kershaw knife that came packed in an ammo can - a perfect gift for a 26 year old hunter, shooter, gun enthusiast and knife collector. The package shipped on time and on December 11th I track the shipment. The FedEx info said it was left at my door on December 10th at 7 :32pm...oops, just one problem. There was no package left at my door. I follow FedEx's rules, ultimately filing a claim. I get an email telling me they are trying to resolve my problem, but that if the problem is not resolved by December 15th I should contact the shipper. FedEx has no answer by the 16th so I contact Mancrates. I end up speaking to a VERY nice young lady - I wish I could remember her name, so I'm just gonna say Sarah - who was "fed-up w/ fedex" and all about resolving my case. She said "let me call FedEx and find out what's going on and I'll call you back," which she did later that same day. She said FedEx had "NO CLUE" where my package was, so she was just going to have another one sent to me. Unfortunately, there was only one problem. The kit I had ordered was now on back order and there was no guarantee I would get a new one before Christmas. However, she said she would add notes adding words like "urgent" and "expedite." I said "OK," that I would wait (because I really liked the kit and would just explain my "woes" to my son). Well, imagine my surprise when 2 days later I get an email from Mancrates telling me my package has shipped... really?!?!?!? So I pull up the tracking info and change the receiving destination to my local Walgreen's w/ FedEx services. I receive another email on that Saturday saying my package was delivered, but because I work, I couldn't pick it up until Monday the 21st. So I go into Walgreens at 9am, and lo and behold there is my package. I take it home and open it and there is the personalized flask EXACTLY as I had ordered it, and the knife, all nicely packed in the cool ammo can... WOW!!! This was my 3rd purchase from this company, but the first time I ever experienced a shipping problem, and which was obviously NOT Mancrates's fault. But I must say I have never dealt with a more caring, helpful and considerate company!! They took ownership of a problem that was not created by them and made good on their promise of taking care of their customer. Rest assured I will continue to be a big fan and customer of this company - may even buy one of their "jerky" package just for me!!! THANKS MANCRATES for a GREAT Christmas!!!!!
