I ordered some crew socks from Manmade for my size 13 feet. I ordered size L, which the website states should fit size 11-14. To my surprise the socks are very tight and feel like they might fit size 11 or 12 at most.
They certainly don't fit me and are too uncomfortable to wear.
While the quality is okay, I now have paid for a pair of socks that I can't wear, so I will have to give them to somebody with smaller feet.
I was contacted when my order arrived by Anthony Ciavirella, one of the co-founders of Manmade. When I let him know about the sizing problem he replied that the issue is my size preference, and that Manmade socks are supposed to feel tight. Well, they feel like I'm wearing socks that are simply too small; my fit preference is for an accurate size! I felt like I was getting the brush off.
