This map app can no longer be trusted, it's calling the Gulf of Mexico the 'Gulf of America' just because a fascist dictator said it one time. That's not how maps work, I can no longer trust that locations are labelled correctly and that I'm not using an app that supports fascists. Disgusting. Will no longer be using this, swapping to Apple Maps.

Google Maps is globally used and trusted, yet it’s promoting misinformation by labeling the Persian Gulf as the “Arabian Gulf.” This is historically and geographically false. The name Persian Gulf has been in use for over two millennia in countless official records, maps, and international agreements. Changing it due to political pressure is deeply irresponsible.If Google continues to ignore facts and rewrite geography for money or influence, I’ll stop using their services and encourage others to do the same. Respect history, not revisionism.
