Unlike most banks, you cannot transfer your cash ISA out electronically - you have to fill out and post a paper form.I omitted my national insurance number (doh!). They then refused to accept my confirmation NI number over the telephone (even though I had completed their security checks). They said that I would have to comjplete a whole new form and send it in again.Terrible customer service (although polite).Feels like the Hotel California - My money can check-out but it can never leave...
