I wish, wish, wish I had read the Trustpilot reviews prior to my online purchase from Marimekko. As the company has a relatively high profile for its designs and is so well-known, I did not do so, more fool me. As so many others have said, the problem is with customer service, which is about as poor as it could be. I needed to return the dress I’d ordered; I followed the instructions on the website and received an email saying I would receive a return label “within a few days”. These few days stretched to a week, during which time I phoned twice and emailed. The agents I spoke to on the phone were either utterly clueless or being given very clear instructions to be as unhelpful as possible. Nobody could explain why a website, in 2025, could not produce a return label almost instantaneously as so many other companies do. Additionally, DHL, Marimekko’s delivery partner, sent both a QR code that didn’t work and had a website failure. Possibly not Marimekko’s fault, but it added to the frustration as I then had to wait in for a parcel collection. I do acknowledge that the return was quickly processed but the experience was such that I will never, ever order again from this company, however lovely their clothes might be. I have also promised myself that I will read Trustpilot’s reviews whenever I want to buy from a company I have not previously used!
