From Australia - Great clothes, great style, great quality - all let down by poor customer service. The online returns process is not representative of a global fashion house. In short, when returning an item (at your cost), they don't offer a credit note - but rather a promotion code. Which means you're limited in what you can use that "credit" on - i.e. you can't use it on sale items - you're forced to only use it on full priced items - not something you'd expect from a global fashion house. To be frank, I've actually never encountered this type of returns policy. Additionally, the online customer service team is slow to respond. I don't think they've ever answered the phone once in the numerous times I've called at different times of the day, different days - even after leaving messages. I've missed out on sales promotions on account of delayed responses. Again, not something you'd expect for a brand like Marimekko. In future, avoid the online shopping unless you're absolutely certain you're going to keep it. The retail store staff are usually fantastic but not always practical to get to - which means less Marimekko shopping for me because I don't want to deal with their online customer support. Which is a shame because I've ended up shopping a lot less with Marimekko as a result of my experiences.TLDR - great fashion, great clothes - let down by customer service and bizarre Returns Policy.
