Don't purchase from matthew homes I have lived here for 22 weeks and I'm still unable to use 2 of the 3 bedrooms because of bad connection they have agreed that the lounge ceiling needs to be ripped out so the floors above can be reworked so the bedrooms can be used then the kitchen ceiling also needs replacing & a large section on the landing these are Major faults. then there are 40 more minor problems such as miss mach paint work, bad drylining, ill fitting patio doors & front door and no date for the works to done even though the guys that built it are still on site.I'm sorry if this upset anyone already living here but I can no long let matthew homes do this to me or anyone elseStill rubbishIt is now 6th September 2023 and I have still got problems with the walls and floors in my house.SENT TO ME 5 Months agoMr Gooby.Further to our discussion earlier this week, I have discussed this ongoing issue with Senior Management.Further to those discussions, Matthew Homes have requested Simcott to reattend, investigate why the floors are still creaking and resolve, as they were contracted to do.Simcott have been requested to make contact directly with yourselves and make the necessary arrangements.Kind regards,Wayne Elliott,Aftersales Manager.Matthew Homes Limited45-47 High StreetPotters BarEN6 5AWTel - 01707 655550 And I'm still waiting, try talking to Wayne Elliott, I didn't buy my house from simcott so why am I expected to take time away from my business to do Wayne Elliott's job..Do not remove this post until you resolve my problems as I will happily repost.
