bought 2 beds. the birlea bronte double for myself and the birlea tetras for my son, with 2 bodyshape vitality foam mattresses, both double, both medium (firmness scale = 2).
my sons bed started breaking up the same night it arrived, as soon as he lay on it. the wooden slats broke. the bed itself is that rickety, i can wobble it with my little finger and the whole bed shakes and rattles.
the company has the driver assemble the beds as my son is autistic and i have mobility issues, neither of us would be able to do it. just as well we did - even they had issues assembling them both!
my bed is fine, although some of the fixtures are falling off (only had it a couple of weeks).
both mattresses were left for the exact same length of time before being used. my mattress hasn't filled out, i am sleeping on slats! its rock solid! my sons mattress is perfect. we both weigh the same too.
i have not yet had chance to contact them with regards to my mattress. they are coming monday to fix my sons bed, i will tell them monday, hopefully they will have a mattress to replace this one.
i put 20 feb. but i cant remember the exact day, we had a busy week that week, my son was off college.
also my dad has the reference number, as he paid for it all. he has those details and is unreachable at present
