The quality and clarity of their glasses is awesome. I have personally owned six pair of Maui Jim glasses and have been very happy with them. However, I recently sent a pair of glasses to them for a prescription upgrade. The glasses were returned to me in a cheap and flimsy folding case. The hard clamshell case I sent them in was thrown away by the Maui Jim team. This was my wife’s case and it was her favorite because of the protection it provided her glasses. Apparently Maui Jim has become so large they are arrogant enough to feel that they can make decisions on my behalf regarding my personal property. Further these glasses are now unnecessarily taking up space in a landfill. Because of their blatant disregard for the environment and customers personal property I have decided to make what I consider an ethical stand and move my business to another manufacturer when I purchase glasses in the future
