MaxPureCases Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Leather case in Ink. Beware products are counterfeit.So we had our reservations about this site, but being that 14 Pro Max cases are hard to find nowdays (most retailers have stopped stocking accessories) we decided to give them a go.The case arrived today, and the first thing I did was remove my Genuine Apple Forest Green leather case to compare.The iPhone font in the rear of the case is incorrect font and size (only marginally but quite obvious once you have them side by side). The font is also not as clear (but kind of to be expected seeing that the Ink colour is darker than the forest green).Secondly - the animation when you put a genuine case on is a ring the same colour of the case that ripples outwards, the counterfeit case supplied by MaxPureCases.com did have a animation. But it didnt show the colour of the case nor did it ripple out, I confirmed this a couple of times with different phones and I may put up a YouTube video to show the differences.Yes it was about 30% cheaper than a genuine product, so I should have known - but I have also managed to obtain genuine leather cases for a similar price on Amazon (Sold and Dispatched by Amazon) in the past so thought it possible to receive an authentic product.The box was an exceptional copy of the authentic product, and the case is VERY VERY close too (probably wouldn't recognise it as Counterfeit if you didn't have a genuine one to compare).I'm going to take this up with PayPal/MaxPureCases and listen to their response before I follow this up with Apples Legal/Counterfeit Prevention department.UPDATE: 22/08/2024 (Excellent After-Sales Support)I have already received a response from Pure Max Cases before this review went live. They explained that this sounds like a logisitcs issue with one of their suppliers in Germany have asked for photos/videos of the comparison so they can take this up with supplier. Its fantastic that the company is taking the complaint seriously and have already offered a refund for the product.
