We tried using the MAE app to transfer funds and it seems there's some technical problems...an error popped up and advised to try again later..we needed assistance ASAP as we had to pay the balance for our car in order to collect the car. So we had no choice but to head into a Maybank branch...they've asked us to use the MAE app. which we have had..we have even tried using their website. Same error message... apparently,there's issues where some MAE services are temporarily not available...so one of them is the " secure 2 u". The officer in MAYBANK branch confirmed it's MAE issue..What saddened us was, the staff knew its MAE app issues and yet they still charged us RM5 for the RENTAS service for the fund transfer.We felt this is very unfair as We are all valued customers and in such scenarios, Maybank should waived the fee as this is the bank's app issue.'It's not about the amount but the principle that matters to show how much the bank values us, their customers !!' Maybank fails to do so...
