I experienced an issue with my Kia Niro Electric. Johnson Mazda Solihull refused to acknowledge the fault, saying it was Kia’s responsibility, despite me owning the car for only five months. They advised replacing the battery, which I did at a cost of £150, but this did not fix the problem. Kia later identified the real issue as a faulty boot sensor draining the battery and confirmed there was an outstanding recall that Mazda should have notified me about. I am now £150 out of pocket for an unnecessary battery, and Mazda has ignored my calls.
