My Mazda 2, manual, is 3 years old, it has always juddered slightly, but has become quite bad over the last 16 months or so, although we have reported issues and it was found to be miss firing last Xmas, the tech from Mazda Gosford, NSW, who was short staffed at the time wanted us to book in for further investigations, which we did over the Xmas 2020 period.On collection after testing they told me there was nothing wrong with it, and insisted that I take their head tech for a test drive of my own car, (I could feel it juddering) but he said he couldn’t feel anything, I was so embarrassed to tell you the truth.We then wrote to Mazda Australia telling them, we were not happy with the juddering and also high pitched whining noise ( I myself cannot hear) but my teenage kids could at the time and they refused to be in the car because of it - and also failure to start/stop on occasions too...Then apparently Mazda Australia- reviewed the data from the testing although miss firing, they said it was not an issue.We booked my car in for a service at Mazda Hornsby (I didn't feel comfortable going back to Gosford) on the 6th December, again we mentioned juddering and high pitched noise, on collection they said there was nothing wrong with it.7th December my husband found out via an alert to a car group he is in, about a recall of 93k Mazda's, my car is included.We rang Horsnby, and asked why they hadn't said anything about the recall, and they said it was not up to them to tell us, and that the recall has to come via an official letter, which he said we should get mid January, as yet, we have not had that letter, we have again, complained via Mazda Australia. Who have again refused to fix it.How long is a piece of string they say? Never ending.......Very disappointed and we are stuck with a horrible car, and will never buy a Mazda again, (and we had 3 Mazdas at that time) the original Genki Manual 2006 - which drives better than my Mazda Genki 2018 also CX5 - which we have sold no issues with that car though....just my little one unfortunately 😢.
