If the government are cracking down on rogue landlords then why are they still allowing Mears to still operate. We have been in this property for over a year the living room window is broken and has still not been fixed. They have come round measured then come with the windows and say they cannot fit them without scaffolding then do t see them again. Took them 6 months to fix the shower. Shower is constantly overflowing still hasn’t been fixed fir 6 months. No cold water tap in bathroom for 8 months and tap broken in kitchen Have some woman come round from Mears and get told why did we agree to rent the flat if these things were not working well if we could see into the future we would not have (great customer service) and then she says we would hear from her the following week to resolve everything 5 months later nothing still done what a joke why are they still allowed to operate why are councils still using them?.
