I bought the sony headphones WH-H910N from the MediaMarkt shop, but after just one year, an electronic defect developed where a very loud siren sound would come one every time the headphones were turned on for 15 minutes. Additionally physical damage to the headband near the ear piece appeared a few weeks later. The scandal, however, is the service provided by Mediamarkt. The guarantee (from two years of purchase) was not recognized because the bracket was broken. Mediamarkt therefore charged CHF 92 inspection fees to get the defective device back or 360 to repair/replace it (the original price was CHF 229). Before sending it in, I was not given a cost estimate, nor was I instructed by the Mediamarkt staff about the costs involved (you can allegedly read that in the small print !!!). The only free option was to let the repair company keep the headphones. So by going to MediaMarkt I left even worse off!
