I am absolutely appalled by the atrocious and deceptive customer service I have experienced with MediaMarkt/Saturn. After purchasing the SONY WH-1000XM4 headphones and facing an issue where they suddenly stopped charging, I submitted them for repair under warranty. However, after weeks of waiting, I was informed via email that the issue was not covered by warranty and that I would be required to pay an outrageous 110 Euros for a simple circuit repair. To add insult to injury, I am also being charged an additional 40 Euros just for "transportation and inspection costs" if I decide not to go through with the repair.This is nothing short of a scam! These hidden charges should have been disclosed to me up front, not sprung on me after weeks of waiting. To withhold my property unless I pay these extortionate fees is unacceptable and highly unethical. The fact that you are now holding my headphones, which are worth 249.99 Euros, hostage unless I pay an inflated sum, speaks volumes about the predatory practices you are engaging in.I strongly condemn the fraudulent and manipulative tactics you are using under the guise of "customer service." This is a blatant attempt to extract money from customers who trust your company. I expect an immediate resolution to this matter, or I will take further action to ensure my rights as a consumer are respected.
