The MedTronic Pain Stimulator units are quality of life game-changers but if your surgeon recommends one of these units; say no! Ask for one made by a company with actual Customer Service! This medical equipment company is not accessible if you have equipment failure on the weekend, at night, or even during lunch. Calling Customer Service does no good as you can never get through the lengthy phone queue. Contacting your Rep does very little good because they have huge caseloads and just refer you back to Customer Service. If I had to do it all over again and knew what I now know; I would have insisted on a company that actually provides customer service. Insurance Carriers ought to look into this before they approve any more of these units made by Medtronic.
