Online order - below expectation

I’ve always admired your company. I’ve never purchased anything until your Black Friday sale. I placed an order online to picked up. I specifically chose an item that was in stock (as it stated online) so it would be ready within 48 hours. I never got an email after 48 hours, but because it was Black Friday, I gave it another day just in case. I’m busy with work so I don’t have the time to follow up but it took me almost 2 weeks to realize that I didn’t hear any news. So I decided to call. When I called, a young woman answered the phone who sounded like I was bothering her. I gave her my information and was told that it would be ready to be picked up in the afternoon. I assumed because 2 weeks have gone by, that it would already be ready. But that was not the case. If I didn’t call, my order would have fallen through the cracks. They only have one location in Montreal. How does this even happen? Are you short staffed? And on top of that, the website was glitchy that the pick up address & contact information wasn’t correct.
