I went in to buy a few ties. After selecting them, I walked around the store multiple times trying to find an employee to check me out. I genuinely could not even identify who worked there.A couple of customers were already near what looked like the checkout area. I politely asked them, “Are you in line to check out?” One of them replied, “We’re being checked in,” so I said, “Okay, I’ll get in line.”At that moment, someone — apparently an employee — jumped up and snapped at me:“WELL I GUESS I’LL JUST DROP WHAT I WAS DOING AND TAKE CARE OF YOU!”The tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary. I immediately apologized to the customers, telling them I didn’t mean to cut ahead and that I could wait.The employee then sarcastically said:“NO, YOU ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO US.”It was rude, unprofessional, and left me genuinely stunned.In hindsight, I wish I had simply walked out and said, “Keep your ties.” Instead, I still completed the purchase — a decision I now regret.This visit was enough for me to say with full confidence:I will not be returning to Men’s Wearhouse again.
