Mercer Super .. please don't consider investing with them .. if you know someone who has super with them .. advise them to go elsewhere.My wife's father passed away with $75k in super. There are 6 kids (mother died years earlier) who were beneficiaries. My wife and her siblings used a solicitor to deal with Mercer. Short story its been 2 years and we still haven't seen any money.The quick long story ... they requested the father's death certificate , marriage certificate and birth certificate. They received them and then asked all the siblings to provide forms of id, birth certificate , bank account details etc. Then they said they didn't receive all the information. Stalling tactics and then sent out further requests. Kept saying information received is not adequate , send it all again. You ring up and they won't mention a case number and more delays. Till today they say they haven't received all the information. I asked my wife to contact Fair Trading but that didn't happen as i heard that if Mercer receives this complaint they will deliberately hold things up further. It's a nightmare .. they are criminals and for 1 year they still took fees out!
