We have been trying for a month to get Meridian to contact Top Energy and arrange for our meters to be relocated due to house alterations. They are without a doubt the worst company I have ever tried to communicate with. Emails remain unanswered for days, no reply is ever received and eventually I am told there is no record of my emails. Their Facebook Chat site appears to be only manned intermittently and I am unable to find the Chat link which they claim is shown on their company website. Their phone service, to their credit, does offer a call-back option but there is no indication of how long it will be until they call - so one sits and waits and waits. We finally got a helpful phone call but since then..... nothing. After one month I have not progressed at all. It must take some effort to be as bad as this - an experience worthy of a Franz Kafka novel. We are at a loss to know what to do now. Top Energy are going to try and expedite matters but if that proves fruitless then our only option may be to change our electricity retail provider.
