After much soul searching (they had not manufactured enough pieces to actually deliver), I paid for a Metmo fractal vice around 16 months ago, knowing it would be some time, if ever, that they would deliver. If you’re looking at this, you will probably know how much the stainless steel long vise with all the extras set me back.I can breathe easy now, it has just arrived, all the bits with it and it is as beautiful as they said it was. The finish is excellent, the attention to detail is great, everything has been thought about and tweaked up, arises bevelled, knobs knurled, brass end knobs on steel bars, it’s all there.I’ll use it for years then my son will inherit it and use it for many more.You probably owe it to yourself to get one too. I thing the stainless steel looks better but either will work just as well.I don’t know if you’ll have to wait now production is going, but don’t let that put you off.
