I have had no issues with metmo and I even made a mistake in my order and it was refunded and fixed within a week from my original email. I received my fractual vice today and can't fault it. Excellent craftsmanship. They added a little hidden joke also :)

After much soul searching (they had not manufactured enough pieces to actually deliver), I paid for a Metmo fractal vice around 16 months ago, knowing it would be some time, if ever, that they would deliver. If you’re looking at this, you will probably know how much the stainless steel long vise with all the extras set me back.I can breathe easy now, it has just arrived, all the bits with it and it is as beautiful as they said it was. The finish is excellent, the attention to detail is great, everything has been thought about and tweaked up, arises bevelled, knobs knurled, brass end knobs on steel bars, it’s all there.I’ll use it for years then my son will inherit it and use it for many more.You probably owe it to yourself to get one too. I thing the stainless steel looks better but either will work just as well.I don’t know if you’ll have to wait now production is going, but don’t let that put you off.
Although the quality of the metmo edge titanium is excellent, the item took a very long time to arrive. Also, paying extra for royal mail tracked 24hr postage does not make it arrive faster as they despatch goods across the course of a month. Overall, I like the tool but would not use again for the above reasons.
I had a very disappointing experience. My original order (#D824) was lost. They sent a replacement via FedEx without warning me about the excessive administrative fees. I ended up paying $110 USD in local fees (75% of the product's value!) for a mistake made by MetMo. I’ve been emailing them for over a week with the receipt attached and they have completely ignored my request for a refund of these fees. They do not care about their international customers.
Unfortunately the Metmo website only seems to allow positive reviews, at least in my experience. This should make you very wary if you go by reviews when purchasing. The products do look nice, mine wasn't up to par. Buy if you want to take the chance just ignore the reviews.
The design and construction is beautiful, and the leather pouch is a great touch. Now torn between carrying it with me everywhere, or mounting the driver and displaying it as industrial art. Have put it to use and works so well that I have ordered its smaller sibling. One of the drivers will be added to the motorbike touring toolkit.Thanks for bringing a bit of innovation and quality to life.
METMO DRIVER REVIEWI backed this project on Indegogo as part of the second phase after watching Metmo's video on Youtube about making the prototype of the driver. I could feel the passion of those involved and the “old school” type engineering and finished product really impressed me.I realised when I placed my pledge that there was a wait time and through experience of various other pledges on the platform and Kickstarter, that of course all may not go exactly to plan with regards to delivery dates and times scales. In this case however, I was wrong, the items were shipped prior to the expected shipping date in fact. I had ordered the extra bit adapter kit in it's own leather sheath as this was to be a gift for my son for Christmas 2023, my other son was to receive a Metmo Grip which I had purchased some time ago and was very pleased with. My thoughts were that these were lovely items, very well made, built to last, and if kept in good condition, could easily become a collectable of the future. Unfortunately, Fedex, whom Metmo entrusted in delivering my order to France, decieded in their wisdom to return the package to Metmo in UK after several weeks of it sitting in the local delivery depot here in France, for no reason at all.. This was no fault at all of Metmo.Since then, Metmo resent the items to me in France using Royal Mail, this time and the package arrived very quickly indeed, a matter of days in fact. All seemed good with the outer packaging, but unfortunately, upon opening the second protective cardboard packaging sheath, it was clear that the black display box was damaged on the outside and when I opened that, the inside of the box was almost destroyed where the “heavy” driver had obviously come loose and had been rattling around in transit.... With that, the long term collectability of the item instantly disappeared. I reached out to Shay at Metmo who had taken on my case since day one. That is unusual these days I find, to have the same person to look after you all the way through, nice touch and shows good customer service in my book. I sent Shay photos of what I received and in no time at all, he got back to me with various choices of how we could sort this out. The problems were all resolved within minutes, literally....Both Shay and Metmo went above and beyond in their handling of this unfortunate run of unusual problems and proved that their customer service if of the utmost importance to the company.... Very rarely these days have I encountered a company with such good ethos and service....I would not hesitate to recommend Metmo as a company, or any of the products that they make, service and prodcts really are of the highest quality. Thank you Metmo.
