I used to work for Michael Hill at the Cherry Lane store in Penticton, Canada.I do not recommend working for this company at all, especially not the Penticton store. The Manager, Ryan Romanchuck is a sexual predator who has been reported on more than one occasion, and yet this company still employs and protects him, not his victims. When I worked there, he made lewd comments, peered down female staff members tops, he does not allow female staff members to bring their spouse along to company events, even if the spouse pays. He touched me inappropriately on the butt, shoulders, back and arms, and even tried to kiss me. I reported this to Human Resources, and all he got was a slap on the wrist, and he got to keep his job. I felt like I was forced to quit, as I could not work with him anymore. I was given a small payout to keep my mouth shut about his behavior. But after 2 years of not being able to even go to the mall where he works out of fear of being stalked, I need to say something. I need to warn women about the work atmosphere at the Micael Hill Cherry Lane store. I definitely do not recommend working here, where the manager is a sexual predator, and Michael Hill continues to protect him, not his victims
