We were told the claws had worn down and had to pay $90 to fix it — despite having recovered the stone.Michael Hill explained that their Lifetime Diamond Warranty requires six-monthly inspections, but this was never clearly explained to us at the time of purchase. Their response was polite, but no goodwill gesture was offered.Reading many similar reviews online, this seems like a common issue. Disappointed with both the durability of the ring and the limited value of their “lifetime” warranty.
