WOW!!! Had a loud sound coming from my exhaust on Sunday and just decided to stop by Midas on Yonge Street, in Barrie, Ontario on my way to work at 7:30 am the next day without an appointment. They open at 8 am, but they opened their doors at 7:45 am. That in itself was a pleasant surprise!! I was greeted by Anna who was absolutely lovely. She agreed to take the truck in asap and get it looked at. Again, another pleasant surprise, as I did not expect to be seen so quickly. I told her that I would wait, as I was heading into the office afterwards. I was able to wait in a clean and comfortable waiting area with a TV. The manager, Noori came out and brought me back to my vehicle (safely) and showed me the problem. I agreed to have it repaired and they (Matt, mechanic) had the vehicle all done for me within an hour and invited me once again to come back and see the repair. I was also very pleased with the cost of the repair!! Noori was so accommodating and professional, as well as the other staff I interacted with. The whole team seems really happy and it is apparent that they really love their jobs. I was speaking with a gentleman in the waiting area, who also says he brings his cars here for everything. He even said they will loan you a car if you need it while repairs occur. I will be going back for any future repairs that my cars may need. Was not aware that they do all work on vehicles (just not body work)!!!TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE, this is rare these days.
