This was a frightening experience. I went in for a blood test that was supposed to be sent off immediately. However, the test was performed on Saturday but not sent until Monday. After previously receiving an inaccurate result from another clinic, I couldn’t afford to wait for this service to sort itself out. I went to the emergency department and received an accurate result right away. Later, I received a call from a doctor with an inaccurate result, which could have been life-threatening had it been correct. The emergency staff were not only helpful but also promptly analyzed my blood test, which was critical in my case. I urge everyone to support the local health service where competence is provided at no cost, unlike the experience I had here.
