I've waited three weeks for Miele UK to collect my vacuum cleaner for a service - for the second time. They failed to fix the problem on the first service collection in mid-January. The original issue persisted, no suction etc. I have asked for a copy of the technical service notes. Promised but never delivered. This is my experience with their lies.
The unit is under warranty, and I have called and emailed multiple times. Each phone call repeats the same questions, I switched to email. When I ask when the item will be collected, I receive the same one-sentence reply - this is your case number - plus five AI-generated paragraphs but no date or information. I am invisible. The next step is to contact the Ombudsman.
On a personal note, I have RA and because I have had to sweep and collect dirt manually, my joints have flared up and are inflamed on my right hand.
