It would be nice to have a real time-ish tracker to see the progress of the car from origin to destination.
The move went exceptionally well. The dispatcher was very professional, arranging everything with just one call. He provided follow-ups when necessary. The driver was courteous, efficient, and professional. Although I wasn't fully prepared due to a business closure, the teamwork between the dispatcher and the driver made the entire process seamless. Thank you to the service team.
Mile Auto Transport contracted with Sonic Xpress to transport a vehicle for my sister. She paid for her vehicle to be delivered to me for storage. I was only there to receive the vehicle, not make payment for the service because it was to be put on the credit card. Not once in all the confirmation on our end was it said we had to pay on delivery. The driver could not speak much English, said he spoke Pakistani, however understood our neighbor and answered his question correctly. He had a translator app. and the dispatcher on the phone telling us we had to pay to receive the car. We could pay by cash, cashiers check or some app. we had never heard of. It was evening and banks were closed. We made several phone calls to Mile Auto, my sister and the credit card company. Still told we were responsible for payment at our end. They tried to pressure us saying they had another job to get to. There was nothing for us to do. After many phone calls and threatening to call our sheriff and the Better Business Bureau the driver decided someone else would have to deliver the car tomorrow so he could go to his next job three hours away. The next day the same driver showed back up and delivered the car. There was plenty of time for the payment between the transport company and the driver to work out payment between themselves. We felt like the driving company was attempting to extort us. Either Mile Auto is not screening their contractors well or they are in on the scam. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, so nobody else has to be put under this pressure.WE WERE HELPING A FAMILY MEMBER AND IT NEEDN’T HAVE BEEN FRUSTRATING.
Second time I have used the service, Alex coordinates everything and delivery is seamless, there are many choices in auto transport, I wouldn't change as they provided me the service I expected for a fair price and I will continue to use them.
