Miles Mobility was great until I received a ticket and had to deal with their customer service. Long story short, I was given a parking ticket after parking on a residential street with managed parking (ticket machine). The parking sign stated that parking was permitted with a ticket or for residents only (Monday to Friday). On Miles' FAQ page, it says, "You can park there as a resident as well as with a parking ticket." However, this statement is misleading. Their Terms and Conditions (in short) state that you must not park in an area with parking ordinances within 48 hours. So what happened? After reading the FAQ (assuming it would provide all the necessary information), I believed I could end my ride in the residential area without purchasing a parking ticket. Well, I got ticketed.Thinking about it, unless you have your own parking spot, "free" or unrestricted parking in Frankfurt is very hard to find. So where am I supposed to leave the car when I'm done?I then contacted Miles' customer service regarding the discrepancy between their FAQ and Terms and Conditions. Yes, I admittedly did not read the Terms and Conditions line by line—because most people would assume the FAQ page contains all the necessary information. In the end, Miles was nice enough to refund the processing fee and pay the ticket (hence the two stars), but almost every response I received had a condescending tone.So no, I will never use Miles again, and I would not recommend this service to anyone unless they're really looking for a headache.
