DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY FROM MISTERLAMP TORONTO. Before I ordered the light, I contacted them to confirm that the light came with plug in hardware, as listed in the description and shown in their photo. They confirmed it does. Shipping was supposed to take 6-8 days, it took over a month. When it finally arrived, I had to pay extra duties and taxes, even though their website says if you're in Canada you won't have to. Not only that, they claimed it was still in a warehouse awaiting to be shipped to me, when in fact it was at a post office awaiting me to go pick it up and pay the extra costs, meanwhile they had no idea where the package was, I found this out on my own. Low and behold, when I opened the box there was no plug in hardware. I contacted them immediately and this started off the month long (and counting!) battle to have them reimburse me for sending me the WRONG product. Every message I get has contradictory information, but finally after they 3+ weeks they confirmed the mistake was theirs and they did not expect me to have to pay for their error. Yet still, after a month of almost daily messages back and forth they still refused to pay the return shipping fees. They keep coming back with "options" like a replacement (for the same light that again does not come with the plug in hardware), or another light when I have repeatedly stated the only acceptable solution is a full refund. One day they said they'd reimburse me for the additional taxes and duties, then next they say they won't. I don't even know if I'm conversing with an actual person, I suspect it's an AI canned response as it's clear they are not reading the email chain when they reply. They will send these "apologetic" emails but won't follow through with their own policies. I ordered the light in April, it is now July, and the issue is still not resolved. This has been BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience I have ever experienced in my life. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. FYI - my order number is 2108, and I guarantee you, you'll see the same canned response from them saying "sorry, we can't find your order...blah blah blah", despite over 40 emails back and forth. They are complete scammers, with no intention of reimbursing you, no matter how defective their product is. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
